991 Fowler Rd, Springfield, 45502 (us), 8074 Dayton-Springfield Rd., Fairborn, 45324, and 4769 Steeplechase Dr., Fairborn, 45324 are all within 4 miles of each other.
I’m the Easternmost of the three. 1910 S. Bird Rd., Springfield, 45505, is about 12 miles further east, so if you’re coming from Columbus it should probably be your first or last stop. This is spread out over their back yard with several ROWs and lots of buildings and details.
5656 North Hampton Rd. is about 13 miles from my house, and a little farther than the others. It has a huge ROW, and they like to run long trains via track-powered remote control.
Back to me, mine is the most compact, being three levels with a four-level water feature. Built to minimize weeding and maintenance and provide vertical interest. All track power and rheostat control since I use it as a test track for products I’m reviewing.
The one on Dayton-Springfield Rd is much larger, built on a raised bed, with multiple ROWs, using track-powered remote control. Lots of buildings and accessories and long trains.
The one on Steeplechase Drive is new and I haven’t seen it. But the owner has made a large investment in track and equipment, plus several impressive scratch-built features.
